A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Two grannies get in a fight in our local multiplayer GMTK 2018 jam entry: [Beat 'em up] without [meelee combat].

Barbara and Betty have known each other for many, many years - but with their upcoming "Cheerleaders of '52" reunion, old conflicts resurface. This is a GMTK Jam 2018 entry with the theme [Beat 'em up] without [meele combat]. A 2 player local multiplayer game created within 48 hours.

Recommended: use two controllers.

We have just uploaded an update that fixes the controller bug :-)

Oh, thank you for the fix.

Hey um...

I can't figure out how to get the keyboard controls to work. I don't have any controllers, so that's the only option I have but whenever I enter to the fight the keys are unresponsive.

Is there anything I need to adjust or something? I've only just downloaded it.

Which include the Escape key so I can't leave the game until I ctrl+alt+del and bring up task manager. Then afterwards the game deletes itself after I finally quit it.

Hey SlimTheSlick, sorry about that! After the jam ended we realized that there has to be a controller connected for the game to work. That's the downside of always testing on the same machine :-) Once you have connected a controller (maybe a virtual one works as well?) you can play the game with the keyboard, you don't have to use it.

We have a fix ready and will upload once the voting phase ends.

Oh, thank you for the reply and explanation.
